Physical and chemical properties: white loose and fine powder, odorless, slightly bitter taste, easy to absorb moisture, heated to 160℃ decomposition into CaCO₃ and acetone, easily soluble in water, slightly soluble in ethanol.

Product uses:

1. Calcium acetate for acetone, acetic acid, polyester industry, and for the synthesis of acetate;

2. It can be used as analytical reagent

3. It can be used as food stabilizer, compound, mildew inhibitor, buffer, flavor enhancing, corrosion inhibitor;

4. It can be used as a very good food calcium fortifier, the absorption effect is better than inorganic calcium. So it can be used in infant food.

Storage method: Closed storage in a cool, dry and ventilated place, and shall not be mixed with toxic chemicals.
