Physical and chemical properties：Mostly white powder, particles or columns，odorless or slightly with asbenin smell, slightly sweet with astringent taste. It is stable in air, not easy to decompose at room temperature, and is easily soluble in water. The PH value of its aqueous solution is about 8-9, which is soluble in ethanol.

Storage method: 

1. Storage environment: sodium benzoate should be stored in a dry, well-ventilated warehouse, far away from fire and heat sources.

2. Light avoidance requirements: sodium benzoate should be stored in a cool and dark environment to avoid exposure to direct sunlight.

3. Separate storage: sodium benzoate should be far away from oxidants, acid substances, to avoid mixed storage.
